This is my CCR I hope you enjoy! 1. How does my project challenge conventions & how does it represent social groups/issues? 2. How does my project engage w/ audiences & how would it be distributed? 3. How did my production skills develop throughout this project? 4. How did I integrate technologies - software, hardware & online - in this project?

Filming blog

Hey blog! Its been a while! today i will be talking about the filming of our video. Lets get started! So far we've filmed a few scenes. These scenes involve the two main characters hanging out together. In these scenes they are talking, walking around, and playing soccer. These shots are in the mid to ending of the video. We've also filmed another part of the two main characters. This part includes them eating at a restaurant and walking around doing shopping. Later this week we are planning on filming again. This filming will be done during the weekend. The scenes that are being filmed are going to be them first meeting and one of the main characters (dalilah) finding the note the other main character (noah) left her. Instead of editing as we go along the group has decided that we will be editing all of our clips once we finish filming them. We find this will be more effective. We also feel it will be easier to add in the music of our liking. Thats all the update on filming r

The journey

Hey guys!  I'm absolutely delighted to share the incredible journey of our filming process with everyone. It's been an immensely rewarding experience, filled with moments of joy and excitement. While I may not have been the most proficient cameraperson, I take pride in the quality of our shots. Utilizing our phones as the primary filming tool, I facilitated efficient collaboration by sharing clips in our group chat for editing distribution. This method significantly streamlined our workflow and ensured everyone had equal editing responsibilities. One aspect that truly stood out to me was the freedom to unleash my creativity once all essential angles were captured. Experimenting with various camera angles and techniques was both exhilarating and fulfilling. Despite occasional mishaps from my teammates, the ability to retake shots effortlessly contributed to a seamless filming process. Our decision to film in a vibrant park and beach setting added a captivating backdrop to our fo

CapCut

Hey ya'll! Welcome back to another blog! Today I have some new information to talk to you guys about. So I've been going through Capcut and working my way around it. I haven't been editing anything but just looked through the features of the app. I've said it before, I'm familiar with Capcut because of other projects and videos I've had to edit. I do know my way around it but never really checked out every option and feature. The basics on the app are easy to figure out and they are a lot more helpful than something like iMovie. iMovie isn't available to people without an Apple device. Not only that but there aren't any features that would help the editing process as well as Capcut. I found one option on the app that stabilizes videos. Say you were filming and your hands were shaking just a little too much. The stabilizer allows for the video to cancel out the shaking and present more smoothly. I changed the setting on my camera to 4k - 60 which help

Sparking New Ideas

Hey ya'll! Welcome back. We've got some progress to talk about. Sloane, Stella, Noah, Dalilah, and I made plans to go one day after school to the park and record for a little. Nothing much but just a couple shots for one of the date scenes we're doing. We went to the soccer fields at the park and got some clips of Noah and Dalilah playing soccer and just having fun. Noah and Dalilah are dating in real life which is why we chose them to be the couple for this project. Using other people, especially in our age group, could've been harder to film. Personally, when being filmed, I get shy and freeze up. Dalilah's on the more shy side so we didn't make it as noticeable when recording which came out more natural instead of forced or obvious that she's acting. Noah is very similar in that aspect. As they were just goofing around or playing soccer, we snuck around them and started recording. We went back to watch and got their little hugs and giggles. We recorded so

Extras and Recordings

Hey Guys! Welcome back! Today Ill be talking about a new update. Lets get started. Our groups have been trying to figure our way around everyone's schedules. There was a choice given out in the group chat. Since everyone just ignored our updates and messages, Shadae and Sloane sent a text out explaining that we are serious about filming and can't continue with people who aren't reliable. They also made it clear that if they want out now, they don't have to say anything, they just have to leave so we can see what's going on. We saw the shift and were left with a few amount of people. The people who recently left are Charlize Moran, Caiden Abbott, and Gabriella Serra. This means the only people left are Rene, Mondo, Dalilah, Noah, Shadae, Sloane, Stella, and I. We know there's been so much focus on extras but as of right now, we are good with our group. If we find replacements we can easily update that and it wouldn't be too big of a deal. We've decided
