OPENING SCENE- OUTSIDE OF DANCE STUDIO

(ESTABLISHING SHOT-WIDE) Outside of a dance studio, trees blowing in the wide

CUT

INSIDE DANCE STUDIO

(EYE LEVEL SHOT)

The Protagonist( Keira 19, Harsh, kind)  Watching the Female lead (Sarah 16, Hard working, Self critical) dance her variation for an upcoming performance.

WIDE SHOT-STUDIO)

About to finish her variation she trips and falls  

MEDIUM SHOT

Keira "walks up to Sarah, not understanding why she cant seem to get the variation right."

Keira: "What was that?"

Sarah: "I-"

Keira: "You were doing so good, your just doubting yourself, your getting in your head."

Sarah says

Sarah: "I know, I know. I can do it please just give me more time."

Keira says impatiently.

Keira: "You need to figure this out quick, the show is next week."

Sarah: I will I can do it.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

Keira gets a text and looks at her phone.

Keira: "I have to go, keep practicing. I know you can do it your just scared to let go."

Keira: "Ill see you later."

(WIDE SHOT-STUDIO) 

Keira walks out of the door, leaving Sarah standing in the dark room alone. 

(OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT)

She walks over to her phone to turn the music on and start again.

(FULL BODY SHOT)

She walks back over to the middle of the room to start her variation again.

She lets out a deep sigh.

(OVER THE SHOULDER BACK SHOT)

She is dancing the variation

(LOW MEDIUM SHOT)

Then she trips again falling on the floor. 

(FULL BODY SHOT)

Frustrated she throws her shoe across the room letting out a scream of anger.

Sarah "Crap!"

(CLOSE UP SHOT)

She takes a deep breath to calm herself,

(WIDE SHOT)

 She goes to grab her shoe and puts it back on.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

Suddenly the music starts to glitch.

(CLOSE UP SHOT)

Confused she grabs her phone and turns the music off.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

She gets up and starts the music again.

(WIDE SHOT)

Then she starts her variation again wanting to get it perfectly.

To the best of her ability she finishes her variation but she still feels like she did it horribly.

(ZOOM SHOT-SPEAKER)

Suddenly the music starts glitching but even worse than before.

(EYE LEVEL SHOT-SARAH)

Then it stops.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

Sarah looks at the speaker worried.

(WIDE SHOT-STUDIO)

Then there are two taps.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

Sarah turns her head.

Sarah: "Hello?" She says confused

No response.

Then the tapping gets louder and louder, until she cant take it and covers her ears, trying to block the noise out.

(CLOSE UP SHOT) 

Then the tapping slows down and quiets but still keeping a consistent beat.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

SHE looks around and then spots something in the corner of the room.

It's a figure.

(ZOOM SHOT MEDIUM)

Scared she backs up, but then it follows her so she stops.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

She tries to back up again but it follows her once more.

(CLOSE UP SHOT-SARAH)

She looks closer and sees that the figure has the same face as her.

(MEDIUM SHOT)

Scared she starts to run away but then the figure lunges at her.

(FADE OUT)

(FADE IN)

MUSIC PLAYING

(WIDE SHOT-STUDIO)

In the studio there is a figure dancing that looks like Sarah.

She is dancing but she has an eerie grin on her face and she is dancing almost robotic like, getting every step perfect the way she never could before.

(CUT OUT TO BLACK)

The ending helps us indicate that the figure took Sarah's form and is now taking over her life, the figure is her self doubt.
