Hi Blog! Welcome back to another film blog! Today I will be talking about my groups pitches! Lets get started!
Here's my groups first idea.:
First Pitch: A teen from a financially struggling family took a job at a place with a hostile work environment. Despite being mistreated, underpaid, and overworked, she endured silently to save for college so she could follow her dreams. Suddenly fired one day, after investing considerable time, she felt betrayed and decided to take matters into her own hands, seeking revenge.
Second Pitch: A young woman and man, introduced through mutual friends during the summer, share the season building a connection that blossoms into a romantic relationship. However, as the summer comes to an end, the young man unexpectedly departs for his home state.
First Pitch:
I'm not very excited about the first pitch because I think there will be difficulties throughout filming. But I think it would fit right in with the comedy genre. It sounds like a good idea to include our friend Gabi, who works at Publix. Considering that she has been working at the store for about a year, we could write her as an important role. As soon as possible, we should approach Publix and ask for permission so that the filming doesn't become delayed.
Second Pitch:
We are significantly more enthusiastic about the second pitch, which revolves around a romantic comedy love story. This genre holds the potential for relatability among teenagers and young adults who may find similarities with our envisioned scenario. Creating characters based on the personalities of our friends adds authenticity and humor to the storyline. Moreover, our friends' ages and personal experiences align seamlessly with the roles we have in mind, enhancing the authenticity of their reactions in various situations. Their funny and genuine personalities promise to bring a delightful and relatable touch to the movie.
