Adventure films were designed to appeal mostly to men, producing famous male heroic actors over the years. These brave, patriotic, or selfless heroes frequently fought for their convictions, strived for freedom, or triumphed over injustice. Characters leave their home or places of comfort to pursue a goal, embarking on trips, quests, treasure hunts, heroic adventures, and explorations or searches for the unknown. Adventure films were designed to appeal mostly to men, producing famous male heroic actors over the years. These brave, patriotic, or selfless heroes frequently fought for their convictions, strived for freedom, or triumphed over injustice.
