CapCut
Hey ya'll! Welcome back to another blog! Today I have some new information to talk to you guys about. So I've been going through Capcut and working my way around it. I haven't been editing anything but just looked through the features of the app. I've said it before, I'm familiar with Capcut because of other projects and videos I've had to edit. I do know my way around it but never really checked out every option and feature. The basics on the app are easy to figure out and they are a lot more helpful than something like iMovie. iMovie isn't available to people without an Apple device. Not only that but there aren't any features that would help the editing process as well as Capcut. I found one option on the app that stabilizes videos. Say you were filming and your hands were shaking just a little too much. The stabilizer allows for the video to cancel out the shaking and present more smoothly. I changed the setting on my camera to 4k - 60 which helps the videos as the stabilizer does and personally, the quality comes out better. Another feature of the regular camera app the my phone (the phone that will be recording) is the cinematic mode. What does it do? Cinematic mode keeps the subject of your video sharp while creating a blurred foreground and background. You can adjust the depth (the blurred effect) and the exposure meaning your videos could be filmed in a darker or brighter tone. I can use the flash as well along with zooming in or out which is the same as if I were using the regular recording mode. The main reason we are using my phone is due to this cinematic mode that my phone comes with. It will also be easier to edit because everything will be on my phone in the first place and no one will have to send me them. Many times, videos get transferred from one person to another and that causes the original video to come out unfocused so we don't want to take that risk and we're just preventing it from the start. That's all for today guys! See you soon in the next update!
