How to make a short film

 Hey blog! Welcome back! Today we will be talking about how to make a short film! We watched a YouTube video and now I honestly understand the process way more!

After watching the video I feel like I understand more about the reality's in film making. There are a bunch of different steps, like not only do you need good actors but you also need good cameras. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. You don't need every single angle in your short film just because you can have it, it wont work and at time will feel like too much.

Another big part of making a short film is the acting. If any part of the acting, or if any person is lacking in any way it will show, in the video he explains how when he was making one of his short films his actors were only giving him 90% and he told them and as soon as they gave him 100% it really made the film.

Music and sounds are also big parts of films, most of the time we aren't allowed to use copy righted music because it takes to long to process, this doesn't mean you shouldn't use music at all it just means you should use music that fits your vibe, but that you are able to use without any difficulty's. 

You always need to know what you want in your film, you need to lock in your tone and not jump from one thing to another. It can make your story confusing and might make views think the tone is different then it actually is. You always need to know exactly whats going on and what your vision is.
